Coal Tar is a kind of black sticky liquid, it has special distinctive odor.

Relative density is 1.18~1.23

The open flash point is at 200°C,

Slightly dissolve in water and Soluble in organic solvent, such as benzene, alcohol, aether, chloroform, acetone etc.

Coal Tar is used for various purposes such as for constructing roads, electricity generation, coking coal for steel manufacturing and industrial process heating and medicated shampoo, soap and as a treatment for dandruff.
